Since our inception we have successfully taught Russian at all levels to hundreds of students in group classes and one-to-one lessons in Greater Manchester and across the world by Skype. Our students study with us for a variety of business and personal reasons, but all have a common goal, to be able to communicate successfully using the Russian language. We teach business people who have to travel to Russia to discuss supply and procurement contracts in the energy industry. We teach people who plan to go to Russia on holiday. We teach the children of Russian parents and we teach people who have married or hope to marry a Russian partner.
To meet this varied demand we offer group classes at beginner, intermediate and advanced levels, in company training and one-to-one classes that can be designed to suit particular requirements.
Our language services are complemented by a range of business and cultural services and we have established one of the largest and most active Russian Social Clubs in the Northwest with over 390 members! We set-up the social club partly because it was a fun thing to do, and we have made many new friends through it, but mainly because we wanted to create an environment where our students could practise what they have learnt in class.

A state certified Russian language teacher with over ten years experience in teaching both adult and young learners; 4 years of experience in Russian Language Centre in Manchester; many years of experience of working in Russia. Elena is highly regarded by our learners, she is well-organised, firm in her manner of teaching and yet kind and a good fun. Her teaching methods are very effective; you are sure to progress fast under her guidance!
Her current area of focus is the Methodology of Teaching Russian as a Foreign Language with interest in communicative, innovative language teaching and learning at university level. Elena has written (co-authored) a textbook for Intermediate Russian “Russian in a Contemporary World”, Routledge, 2017.
Kira has a BA in teaching the Russian language and literature to native Russian speakers and MA in teaching Russian as a foreign language, devoting her thesis to researching of teaching bilingual children. She has 5 years teaching experience, including working with non-native students and bilinguals. Kiera used to be a team guide for the foreign sports teams during international championships in Moscow. Currently she is working in Lomonosov State University as a Russian teacher and a tutor for foreign students.
Her lessons are well-structured, highly professional and fun. She is approachable, punctual, kind and always happy to be of assistance.
A fully qualified Russian language teacher with over 12 years teaching experience in both the UK and Latvia. Irina has an excellent track record, all her students simply adore her for her patience, thorough subject knowledge, her energy and creativity. Russian is her native language. Irina trained to be a teacher at Liepaja Pedagogical University and LEXIS Linguistic Centre in Riga, Latvia. She’s worked at various state and private language schools in the UK and Latvia.
