GCSE/A-level exams

You can sit GCSE and A-level Russian as a private candidate in our centre. This means you can be of any age to sit the exam. You will receive the top class service, help and advice. We operate  in one of the following locations: Macclesfield, Bolton, Coventry or Wimbledon.

The exam process

Step 1 - Application Form

  • Contact us to request an application form for the exam. The form is straightforward – we just need to know your personal details, what location you prefer to sit your exam at, what exam you want to do – GCSE or A Level, and, finally, your tier (for GCSE only). Send us the form back no later than February of the year of the exam.

Step 2 – Fees paid

  • Once we receive your application, we’ll send you an invoice with the amount to be paid (£340 GCSE, £455 – A-level) You can pay electonically using either PayPal or Bank Transfer.

Step 3 – Exams

  • You arrive at the exam centre for your exams. For GCSE Russian, you will need to attend three days. The days and times will be clearly listed on your timetable. Any “clashes” will be resolved at the centre.

Step 4

  • After the completion of the exam season, you will receive your exam results through post (or can be arranged electronically). The results are issued by Pearson Edexcel.

Step 5 – Certificate

  • We will let you know when certificates have arrived at the centre. We check them and send them to you by Royal Mail 1st class.
