This course is for non-bilingual candidates. This is quite an intensive course - twice a week 1.5 hrs. Ideally, you will have learnt Russian for at least 2 years prior to attempting Russian GCSE (see our Step 1 & Step 2 courses). You need to be able to have an intermediate command of Russian.
What you will learn:
- Brush up grammar of Russian
- Learn skimming techniques when reading a text
- Learn formal/informal register
- Learn using a variety of adjectives
- Learn making complex sentences
- Become aware of the marking system
- Learn exam technique

This course is for bilingual children preparing to sit Russian GCSE in 2022 either at their own school or privately. The course is designed to be engaging and yet challenging enough for young people.
