This course is for bilingual children preparing to sit Russian GCSE in 2024 either at their own school or in a private exam centre. The course is starting in September of this year and is designed to be engaging and yet challenging enough for young people. The course takes you step by step towards top grades at GCSE. You will learn not only the Russian language, but also, the exam technique. Here’s what you will learn in lessons:

There are two 10 month groups – one group starts at 15:30 on Saturdays (90 min), the other group starts at 9:30 on Sundays (90 min).

This course is suitable ONLY for kids who are planning to sit their GCSE Russian exam in 2025. This group is for you if your child speaks fairly well, can read and write Russian, and is considered bilingual. The course is structured mainly around exam technique. There is a lot of practice of typical exam tasks.
The course is 10 months long: September 2024 to June 2025. You can pay for the whole course £1020.00 or via monthly instalments of £113.00.

There’s focus on grammar and productive skills, as well as exam techniques.

This group is for kids from the age of 12 and over, who are starting to prepare for GCSE Russian, but are going to study for two or three years prior to the exam. These kids will be sitting their exam in 2025 or 2026.

While most kids are at school, those who prefer to study at home may wish to learn during the day. The course is well structured, excellent teachers will help your son/daughter progress.
Many bilingual kids are only very vaguely familiar with the Grammar of Russian. This course is designed with such kids in mind. Grammar is revised – cases, conjugations, tenses, agreement and more – everything your child needs to know about for GCSE. Also, vocabulary is re-visited.
